Motion sensors, also known as PIR sensors, are used to detect the presence of people in the environment in which they are installed or to create "invisible barriers" by triggering the alarm. These sensors are to be installed in transit areas, such as corridors or stairways, but they can also be provided for halls, bedrooms, or other rooms inside the home.
