Tuya Ambient Light (Brightness) Sensor – Wi-Fi or Zigbee Version

Tired of turning on the lights at dusk or finding lamps left on in the morning, wasting energy? The Tuya brightness sensor detects the

ambient light intensity (Lux) and lets you create smart automations for lights, roller shutters and curtains, directly from the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app.

With a single sensor you can make your home more convenient: automatic switching on when the light drops, turning off when daylight returns, or

automatic closing of curtains/roller shutters when brightness exceeds the set threshold. It’s ideal for home, office, store,

corridors, entrances, shop windows, and anywhere you want to reduce waste and increase comfort.

APP control

Supports automation via the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app; link the sensor to other devices controllable in the app, such as sockets,

switches, and curtains, to create an integrated connection between the sensor and other smart devices based on the brightness detected by the sensor.

Selectable version: Wi-Fi or Zigbee

Choose the variant that suits you. The Wi-Fi version connects directly to the 2.4 GHz network and is ready to be managed via the app.

The Zigbee version is designed for more “smart” and stable setups: it requires a Tuya Zigbee gateway/hub and works responsively in automations.

Automations and scenes

You can set rules such as “turn on the light when it falls below a certain Lux threshold” and “turn off when brightness rises above the set value.”

Likewise, you can manage curtains and roller shutters, for example closing them when the light is too intense or opening them based on the conditions you prefer.

In combination with other Tuya devices (relays, sockets, bulbs, curtain and shutter controllers) you can create complete, customized scenes.

It’s divided into 3 ranges: Low 0 ~ 60 lux, Medium 60 ~ 130 lux, High 130 ~ 1000 lux
