These Terms and Conditions of Use (“ Terms ”) govern your access to and use of the website www.expert4house.com/en/ (“ Site ”). By accessing or using the Site, you accept the Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to any of the provisions, please do not use the Site.

These Terms govern the use of the Site and its information content. The purchase of products/services through the Site is governed by the General Conditions of Sale ("GTC"), which prevail in the event of conflict with these Terms for contractual aspects of B2C sales. The mandatory rights of consumers under the Consumer Code remain unaffected.

The product data sheets are carefully compiled but may present minor differences (illustrative images, technical tolerances, equipment/packaging). Before purchasing and installing, always check compatibility ( Wi-Fi standards, Zigbee, protocols, power supply, loads), electrical/environmental requirements and the manufacturer's instructions . 230 V devices must be installed by qualified personnel in compliance with safety regulations and applicable EU directives (e.g. Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU; EMC 2014/30/EU; RED 2014/53/EU for radio equipment). Use must be in compliance with the intended use and applicable laws.
11) Third-party software, apps and cloud services
Some products integrate with third-party apps/services (e.g., manufacturer apps, IoT platforms, voice assistants). These services are operated by their respective providers; we do not control their availability, features, or policies. Software updates, API changes, or service discontinuations may impact functionality. You should consult the privacy policies and terms of these providers.
12) Video surveillance and respect for privacy
For cameras and smart security systems, users must comply with data protection regulations: simplified information notices posted before the area being filmed, a link to the full information notice, limited retention times, and lawful placement (no areas where personal dignity is violated), in accordance with the guidelines of the Data Protection Authority and the EDPB Guidelines on video devices.
13) Limitations and safety of use
Connected home automation and security systems depend on a power grid, local/internet connectivity, and cloud services. It is the user's responsibility to implement adequate measures (backups, stable network, firmware updates). Devices are not intended for life-critical functions (e.g., life-saving systems, primary fire protection) unless specifically certified for that purpose: do not rely on them as your sole safety device.

15) WEEE and Batteries/Accumulators
The end-of-life management of electrical/electronic equipment and batteries follows the WEEE ( D.Lgs 49/2014 ) and Batteries ( D.Lgs 188/2008 ) regulations. Do not dispose of devices in municipal waste: use dedicated collection systems or "one-for-one" /“uno -for-zero" collection where applicable.

The Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has exclusive jurisdiction. For professional users (B2B), the court of Frosinone has exclusive jurisdiction, except for mandatory provisions.
20) Final provisions
The invalidity /en/index.php?controller=product&rewrite=inefficacia of any provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Any tolerance by the Owner of violations does not constitute a waiver of its rights. The Italian language version prevails in the event of any discrepancies with translations.
