Installation Mode

The sensor is designed for surface mounting, fixed by screws or adhesive on doors or windows. The optimal position is in the

upper part of the frame (not easily accessible), with the magnet fixed on the moving part. Thanks to the protection against

interference from metallic magnetic fields, it is also ideal for installations on conductive materials, such as steel and iron.

Compatible with all wired systems, the sensor can be easily integrated with any control system

access or existing burglar alarm . Its versatility makes it suitable for installation on any material, including

aluminum, wood and PVC , thanks to its surface mount design.

Tuya Wired Magnetic Sensor Installation Instructions

• Preparation : Start by drilling a 10mm diameter installation hole in the desired location.
• Magnet Placement : The magnet must be installed while the door, window or drawer is in the closed position. This ensures that the sensor works properly when the opening is closed.
• Installing the Components. Magnetic Part: Mount this part on the moving side of the door or window. Switch Part: Attach to the adjacent fixed frame. Make sure the magnet and switch are perfectly aligned for maximum efficiency.
• Avoid Magnetic Interference : Place the magnet away from sources of strong magnetic interference, such as transformers and large electric motors. This prevents malfunctions or detection errors.
