How to Connect the Wired Detector to the Alarm Control Panel?

To connect the motion detector to the alarm control unit it is necessary to use the NC/NO and COM detector outputs.

These outputs will be connected to the alarm control panel in the area where we want to connect the detector and to a GND input.

The NC/NO outputs depend on the detector model and have a different meaning: NC indicates closed circuit. The circuit is

normally closed and opens when an alarm occurs. This is the normal mode of operation of the detectors

alarm. NO indicates open circuit. The circuit is in normally open mode and when a detection occurs it closes.

NC/NO outputs do not include voltage. This is a contact that will open or close when a detection occurs

and must be connected to a wired input of the alarm control panel. Connect NC/NO (depending on the type of detector in use)

to the area where you want to configure the detector. In the alarm center it is usually called Z1,Z2,Z3... It is necessary

connect a single cable from the NC/NO output to 1 single input (Z1,Z2,..) of the alarm control unit.

To close the circuit, connect the COM detector output to the GND output of the alarm panel.
