      EC-AV: the “invisible” touch dimmer that transforms your LED strips

      EC-AV is the perfect “inline” touch dimmer switch when you want modern, discreet and clean light control for constant voltage single-color LED strips . It is installed directly in-line between the 5–24V DC power supply/output and the LED strip , so you can manage everything with a simple gesture: short touch = ON/OFF , long touch = smooth 0–100% dimming to switch in an instant from full light to mood lighting. Regulation is via PWM , with 4 selectable frequencies (125 / 500 / 2000 Hz default / 8000 Hz) to optimize performance based on your installation. It supports up to 2.5A (up to 60W @ 24V ) and is designed for a tidy installation: recessed head with Ø17 mm hole and snap -on fixing, plug&play wiring via Dupont connectors (INPUT from the DC power supply/output, OUTPUT to the strip) and pay attention to the +/– polarity for correct operation. It is compatible with many 5–24V constant voltage control units/controllers , including our Tuya smart controllers when the output to the strip is constant voltage.       Touch control and dimming for furnishing lights

      With EC-AV you can control your LED strips with a single gesture: a short tap for ON/OFF and a long tap to adjust the brightness from 0–100% , so you can instantly switch from “task” light to mood lighting. It is ideal for wardrobes and walk-in closets , kitchens and under-unit units , shelves/display cabinets and desk stations, wherever you want a discreet and modern control. It can be flush-mounted (Ø17 mm hole) and works in-line with 5–24V constant voltage LED systems: simply insert it between the power supply/control unit and the single-color LED strip for clean and professional control.

      Touch dimming 0–100% with PWM

      EC-AV regulates brightness via PWM , keeping the system at a constant voltage and varying the light smoothly: a short touch turns ON/OFF, while a long touch increases or decreases the brightness up to the range of 0–100% . To adapt to different LED strips and reduce any flickering effects, you can also select the PWM frequency between 125 Hz, 500 Hz, 2000 Hz (default) or 8000 Hz , always obtaining precise and discreet control of the lighting.

      Compatibility with control units/controllers

      EC-AV is an “inline” constant voltage touch dimmer for single-color LED strips. It is installed between the 5–24V DC output (power supply or constant voltage control unit/controller ) and the LED strip , so you can manage ON/OFF and 0–100% dimming directly from the touch. Precisely because it works “inline”, it is compatible with many control units/controllers on the market that power single-color strips at a constant voltage of 5–24V , including Tuya smart controllers when the output to the strip is at constant voltage. The connection is plug & play with 2-pole Dupont connectors with a pitch of 2.54 mm ( male IN → DC power/output, female OUT → LED strip). The limits must be respected: max 2.5A and max 60W @ 24V.

      Connector polarity and direction (INPUT/OUTPUT)

      EC-AV has two separate connectors: INPUT is connected to the constant voltage DC power supply/output (5–24V) , while OUTPUT is connected to the single-color LED strip . It is important to respect the + and – polarities (indicated on the wires): if you invert the poles or swap input with output , the strip may not turn on . For correct operation, use only constant voltage power supplies/drivers (not constant current) and stay within the load limits of the device.
