EC-A is a “hidden” touch head designed to give elegant and immediate control of LED lighting via a control unit/controller : with a short touch you can turn it on or off, while with a long touch (1–6 s) you can continuously adjust the brightness 0–100% , perfect for creating atmosphere or having full light when needed. It operates at a low voltage of 5VDC and sends a stable 5V PWM output to the controller; to adapt to different systems you can also choose between 4 PWM frequencies (125 / 500 / 2000 default / 8000 Hz) , useful for optimising the light output based on the strip and driver. From an installation point of view, it is a “clean” solution for carpentry and furniture: it is mounted in a Ø17 mm hole with bilateral snap-on fixing, includes a 1 meter cable and uses a 3-wire connector (+ / S / –) where S carries the command ( HIGH = ON, LOW = OFF , 5V level or PWM). The LED load is managed by the control unit. Ideal for furniture, wardrobes/closets, display cases and wine cellars and, more generally, for lighting projects in the home or shop where you want a modern and discreet control without visible switches. Make lighting more comfortable and refined with EC-A: with a short touch you can turn the light on or off, while with a long touch you can continuously adjust the brightness from 0 to 100% , instantly creating the right atmosphere. It is the ideal solution for managing LED strips and accent lights in kitchens (under cabinets), shelves and bookcases, display cases, wardrobes and closets , but also in environments such as living rooms, bedrooms, offices and shops where you want a discreet and modern control. The sensor integrates cleanly into the panels ( Ø17 mm hole) and operates at low voltage with PWM output for smooth dimming.
3-wire connection (+ / S / – connector)
The sensor connects to the control unit via a 3-pin connector with a 1-meter cable: “+” is the 5V power supply, “S” is the signal wire ( 5V or PWM level) that controls the control unit ( HIGH = ON , LOW = OFF ), while “–” is the negative/GND . In practice, the sensor sends the command to the control unit/LED controller , which then manages the switching on and regulation of the connected LED strips.
Compatibility with control units/controllers
EC-A does not directly power the LED strips: it is a touch control head and to work it must be connected to a compatible LED control unit/controller (including our Tuya smart controllers , if equipped with a touch input). The connection is made via a 3-pin connector (+ / S / –) with a 1 meter cable : the controller supplies 5V power to the sensor and receives a 5V level or PWM signal ( HIGH = ON, LOW = OFF ) from wire S to manage on/off and dimming. In practice, EC-A sends the command and the control unit manages the LED load .
