Garage door

You can connect a reed-switch sensor to the digital sensor of Shelly Plus Addon and follow the state of the

your garage door. This way you will always know if it is open or closed when you are away and will act accordingly.

Water heating

Using Shelly Plus Add-on and two DS18B20 sensors, you can easily measure the temperature

accurate inside your aquarium, as well as the ambient temperature. Based on this data, you can maintain a

comfortable and healthy environment for your pets. Furthermore, a level sensor can be connected

liquid to the Add-on and always be sure that the water level is at the optimal level.

Control lights based on brightness

Together with a LDR (photoresistor), Shelly Plus Add-on can activate Shelly Plus 2PM

to open the shutters when the room is too dark and it is still day. Also, when the brightness is low,

Shelly Plus Add-on can activate Shelly Plus 1 to turn on the lights at the right time.

An awning that follows the weather

Motorized outdoor awnings provide pleasant shade for your guests on sunny days.

However, an unexpected strong wind can damage them beyond repair.

By combining it with a wind sensor connected to Shelly Plus AddOn, Shelly Plus 2PM is able to close

the awnings automatically to protect them from the wind. Also, Shelly Plus Add-on with a sensor

rain can activate Shelly Plus 2PM to open the awning just in time to protect your guests.

Water only when needed

Having a beautiful garden is not an easy task and automating your irrigation system can save you money

time and optimize costs. Together with a soil moisture sensor, Shelly Plus Add-on can activate

Shelly Plus 1 to activate irrigation only when necessary, always skipping rainy days.

Motion controlled lights

Shelly Plus Add-on can also be linked to a PIR sensor to light up the rooms you occasionally use in your home.
