The Beca BHT-3000GC Modbus RTU RS485 thermostat is designed for the reliable control of boiler heating (gas or water) , with simple wiring and advanced management via supervision. It is powered directly at 230V (AC95–240V) by connecting phase and neutral to the L/N terminals, while the command to the boiler is via a Dry Contact output (clean contact) , ideal because it manages switching on and off by opening/closing the contact, ensuring wide compatibility with most boilers. Depending on the configuration, it is also possible to connect a dedicated NTC probe , useful when a more precise temperature reading is required or in specific applications. The real strong point is the Modbus RTU communication on RS485 via terminals A+/B- , which allows the thermostat to be integrated into home automation systems, PLCs or BMS systems to read statuses and temperatures and set setpoints directly from a central control. In Modbus, the device works as an RS485 slave , with typical parameters of 9600 bps, 8N1 and an address range of 1–255 , using standard read and write commands; temperatures are often managed in x10 format for more accurate regulation.
