The sensor continues to detect as before and remains orientable, but it no longer protrudes from the ceiling and the cables remain hidden. It comes in two versions: CMSH03 for the SNZB-03P and SNZB-03PR2 motion sensors, and CMSH06 for the SNZB-06P and SNZB-06P24 presence sensors, with a 15 cm USB-C extension cable. To mount it, open a Ø 75 mm hole in the ceiling, insert the sensor into the bracket and push it into the hole: two lateral springs hold it in place. The bracket is white, measures 87 × 66 × 24.5 mm and weighs 34 g . The sensor is not included.
A sensor placed on the ceiling is noticeable, especially in the living room or hallway where the rest of the room is clean. With the built-in mount, the sensor goes into the ceiling and all you see is a white ring, similar to that of a spotlight. In the living room, the Sonoff SNZB-06P24 presence sensor with the CMSH06 keeps the lights on as long as someone is in the room, even if they're reading on the couch without moving. In the hallway, the Sonoff SNZB-03PR2 motion sensor with the CMSH03 turns the light on when someone passes by. You can set up automations in the eWeLink app, with a Sonoff Zigbee hub: the mount doesn't affect the sensor's operation.
The CMSH03 is designed exclusively for the Sonoff SNZB-03P and SNZB-03PR2 motion sensors. It measures 87 mm in diameter, a 66 mm body, and a height of 24.5 mm . Installation requires four steps. Drill a 75 mm hole in the ceiling using a hole saw. Insert the sensor into the bracket, pushing it down. Close the U-bracket over the sensor, locking it in place. Bend the two springs upward and push the bracket into the hole until the frame rests on the ceiling. Before closing, pair the sensor with the app and choose the detection angle you need.
The CMSH06 is designed only for the Sonoff SNZB-06P and SNZB-06P24 presence sensors. It has the same dimensions as the CMSH03, 87 × 66 × 24.5 mm , plus a 15 cm USB-C extension cable . Open the Ø 75 mm hole, insert the sensor into the bracket, and close the U-bracket. Then connect the extension cable to the sensor's USB-C connector and the power cable to the extension cable: this way, the connection remains above the ceiling, invisible. Bend the springs upwards and push the bracket into the hole. The sensor's cable and power supply are not included with the bracket.
