No review at the moment
One power supply, multiple devices: from a single DC 5.5 × 2.1 mm jack come two, three, or four plugs. Power multiple LED strips or several 12-volt devices with one transformer.
Female input, male outputs: the female jack receives the power adapter plug; the 5.5 × 2.1 mm male plugs go into the devices. No soldering, no terminal blocks.
Three versions to choose from:two, three, or four outputs depending on how many devices you need to connect. Manufacturer codes DC552112, DC552113, and DC552114.
12 V DC voltage: the cable passes the adapter’s voltage through as is, 12 V DC, without converting it or reversing polarity.
Compact lengths:15 cm main cable and 20 cm branches each, for splitting near the power supply without messy coils in sight.
Conductor gauge: main cable 20 AWG with 4.3 mm jacket. Branches 24 AWG with 3 mm jacket. UL 2464 compliant construction.
Black PVC jacket: flexible cables with PVC sheathing, molded plug bodies, and current path protected by plastic.
For single-color LED strips and 12 V devices:single-color COB and SMD strips, cameras, sirens, and wired sensors with a 5.5 × 2.1 mm jack.
Mind the current: the power supply’s current is shared among the outputs. Add up the devices’ draw and stay below the adapter’s rating.
Passive accessory: no app, no protocol, no own power. Plug-and-play with any 12 V power supply that has this plug size.
Before connecting: check that the devices run at 12 V and match the power supply’s polarity. The cable does not adapt different voltages.
Power supply and devices sold separately: the package includes only the splitter cable. The 12 V power supply and LED strips are purchased separately.

DC 12V Y-Splitter Cable: One Power Supply, Up to Four Devices
The 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC Y-splitter cable draws power from a single power supply. It connects it to two, three, or four twelve-volt devices. The female socket accepts the power supply plug, while the male plugs fit into devices such as single-color LED strips, cameras, DVRs, and routers. No soldering or clamps required, just plug it in and it works. The main cable is 15 cm long, each branch is 20 cm long, the sheath is black PVC , and the conductors are pure copper. Choose the two-, three-, or four-output version depending on how many devices you need to connect. The 12 V power supply and the devices are purchased separately, and the power supply current is divided between the outputs: add up the current draw before connecting.
DC connector 5.5 × 2.1 mm: the most common size at 12 V
The connector is a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC jack : outer diameter 5.5 mm, inner pin 2.1 mm. This is the size of power supplies for cameras , DVRs, routers, and 12-volt LED strips. The cable fits without adapters. Before ordering, check the socket on your device: if it is a different size, for example 5.5 x 2.5 mm, you will need another cable. The polarity is standard: positive in the center and negative on the outside. It is the same as the power supplies with this plug that you can find among the power supplies and drivers .
PVC sheath: resists kinks, moisture and oxidation
The two conductors are enclosed in a PVC sheath, the same material used for low-voltage power cables. It won't break when bent behind furniture, it won't be affected by the humidity of a garage, and it won't rust over time. The main cable has a 4.3 mm diameter sheath, while the branches are 3 mm. They remain flexible even in tight spaces, behind a monitor or inside a conduit. Inside the sheath, the two wires have differently colored insulation, red and blue : no contact between positive and negative.
Pure copper: 28 wires in the main cable, 11 in each branch
The main cable is 20 AWG with 28 pure copper wires per conductor. The branches are 24 AWG with 11 wires. The section carrying the entire current is thicker than the sections carrying only a portion of it. This allows the voltage to reach the devices without noticeable drops. Pure copper conducts better than cheaper alloys and heats less. The construction follows the UL 2464 standard, the same as power cables for electronics. The maximum current rating is not declared by the manufacturer: stay within the range of your power supply .
Soft cable: bends behind furniture without breaking
The sheathing compound is soft: the cable bends by hand, follows the corners behind a TV or along the edge of a shelf, and straightens out without marks. It's convenient when the power supply is in a power strip on the floor and devices are scattered around: the 20 cm branches orient themselves where needed. The Y-joint is molded in one piece with the cable, not a screwed-on shell: you pull, bend, and it doesn't open. Even the plugs are molded onto the cable, without screws or shells.
Tested to 15,000 insertions: built to last
The manufacturer claims it's tested to 15,000 bending and re-plugging cycles . In practice, you can unplug and re-plug a camera or LED strip every day for years without the contact loosening. The pure copper conductors and waterproof PVC insulation complete the picture. It's a 12V DC cable: it passes the voltage as it is, without transforming or stabilizing it. Therefore, it must be paired with a 12V power supply, adequately sized for the connected devices.
Where to use: cameras, DVRs, routers, LED strips
Anything with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC socket and operating at twelve volts: wired surveillance cameras and IP cameras , DVRs and NVRs, routers, monitors, printers, and single-color LED strips. A typical case is video surveillance: a 12 V power supply and a four-way splitter power four adjacent cameras with a single cable from the outlet. At home, this is the case for single-color 12 V LED strips : two strips under the cabinets, a single power supply. RGB strips have four wires and do not use this connector.
It connects in one step: plug it in and you're ready to go.
No tools are needed. Simply insert the power supply plug into the cable's female socket, then each male plug into its respective device. A single adapter powers multiple devices, eliminating the need for multiple power strips. If a device doesn't turn on, check that the plug is fully inserted. Before connecting, check two things: that all devices operate at 12 V and that their combined current draw is below the power supply's current. Below you'll find the power supplies, jack connectors, and strips we typically pair with them, along with other lighting accessories and connectors .
Reinforced joints and size to be checked before purchasing
The points where the cable enters the plugs are the first to give way in cheap cables. These have a flexible, reinforced collar that absorbs bends and prevents the wires from being exposed. The second image helps you avoid the wrong size: the cable only fits 5.5 x 2.1 mm plugs and sockets. With other sizes in the diagram, such as 5.5 x 2.5 mm, it won't fit or will wobble. Look at the socket on your power supply or device and compare it with the diagram. In short: 12 V DC , 15 cm cable plus 20 cm branches, black PVC, pure copper, three versions with 2, 3, or 4 outputs.
The manufacturer doesn't specify a maximum value. Stay within the current range of your power supply and add together the current draw of all connected devices.
Positive in the center and negative on the outside, the standard 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC plug. The cable does not reverse: the polarity is that of the power supply.
