For truly pleasant dimming, MINI-DIM includes brightness calibration (automatic or manual): the module “learns” the actual response of the lamp and optimizes the excursion, thus obtaining more stable and uniform dimming . With SONOFF MINI-DIM Extreme you can manage the same light from two different locations by connecting two external switches ( push-button or rocker ): ideal for the bedroom + door , hallway , stairs or entrances. Each command remains independent and always synchronized, so you can turn on/off and adjust the brightness where it's most convenient for you, without having to go back .

Using the eWeLink app, calibration can be done through the app or by pressing and holding the device button for 10 seconds. With third-party apps, press and hold the button for 10 seconds. The LED will flash during the calibration process.
INI DIM supports the following external switch types: Single rocker switch (one-way toggle switch)
— S1 or S2: short press to turn on/off
Single button (one-way momentary switch)
— S1 or S2: short press to turn on/off
— Press and hold to increase brightness on first use, and press and hold again to decrease
Double push button (two-way momentary switch)
— S1: short press to turn on, long press to increase brightness
— S2: short press to turn off, long press to decrease brightness
Triple button (3-way momentary switch)
— S1: short press to increase brightness in steps, long press to increase gradually
— Central button: On/Off
— S2: short press to decrease brightness in steps, long press to decrease gradually.
*Note:
Before use, please set the switch mode to match the external switch type by triple pressing the device button or in the eWeLink app.
By default, for double and triple buttons, S1 controls Power/Brightness and S2 controls Power/Dimming. This assignment can be changed in the eWeLink app.
If you can't find the manual brightness calibration option, check and update your device's firmware to the latest version over-the-air (OTA).
