Some LED bulbs are more sensitive than others and require a higher voltage to turn on. To solve this problem, you can perform a "Manual Calibration" in the eWeLink app to fine-tune the minimum brightness level until the LED bulb lights up.
Yes. Orb-ZBDIM requires a neutral wire for proper installation and operation.
Yes. You can manually initiate automatic calibration by pressing and holding the button on the back of the device for 10 seconds. The switch will automatically calibrate the brightness range for your bulbs.
5. After installation, if the lighting effect does not meet expectations, how should it be adjusted?
If you experience attenuation problems, first check the following possible causes:
- Make sure the light type and wattage are within the compatible range. (*Note: LEDs or electronic transformers must be dimmable.)
- Confirm that the Orb-ZBDIM has been calibrated.
If your light continues to experience any of the following issues, please see the corresponding "Manual Calibration" instructions for troubleshooting. (*Note: Make sure your device's firmware is up to date before using Manual Calibration.)
- Flickering or turning off at low brightness → Increase the minimum brightness appropriately during manual calibration.
- Too bright even at lowest brightness → Decrease minimum brightness appropriately during manual calibration.
- No brightness variation in the highest brightness range → Decrease the maximum brightness appropriately during manual calibration.
Make sure your device is powered on and properly connected. Press and hold the pairing button until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly. Make sure your hub is compatible, in pairing mode, and within 2 meters of your device during the first pairing. Try restarting your hub and repeating the pairing process.
