      One of the main reasons for choosing a COB IC RGBCCT LED strip is the visual difference compared to classic SMD RGBCCT IC strips. With many SMD strips, even if “digital”, the individual LEDs remain more evident: the bright points are visible and darker areas may appear between one LED and another, especially when the strip is mounted exposed or behind thin diffusers. The result is often a less “linear” and more discontinuous light. COB (dotless) technology, on the other hand, is designed to create a more continuous emission: the final effect is a more uniform, brighter and cleaner light line , ideal for light coves, aluminium profiles, false ceilings and decorative installations where you want a premium look. Furthermore, as the image shows, the COB offers a wider lighting angle (180°) compared to the typical 120° of many SMDs: this helps to better distribute the light on surfaces and reduce “gaps” and shadows.

When you need to customize the length, you can cut it at the indicated points : this way you get a precise measurement, avoiding waste and obtaining a cleaner result. For assembly, you will find the practical 3M double-sided adhesive already applied: it allows you to attach the strip quickly and neatly to smooth and clean surfaces. If you want an even more stable hold (for example in profiles or corners), you can also use the fastening clips , useful for locking the strip and keeping the line perfectly in place over time. Finally, to make wiring more convenient and "professional", quick connections (0–360°) are available, which are helpful when you need to change direction, make joints or connect the strip to the controller/ power supply in a more orderly manner.

WS2811 RGB-IC manages dynamic colors (rainbow, chasing, gradients, transitions), while WS2811 CCT-IC manages adjustable whites, allowing animations and variations also on the “white” light (not just on the colors).
