Three holding forces:60, 180 or 280 kg, selectable by variant (Secukey Clock-1, Clock-2 and Clock-3). The first is for leaves and light doors, the others for entrance doors, offices and pedestrian gates.
Opens without power: the electromagnet keeps the door closed only while powered (fail safe). If power fails or access control grants permission, the door is released.
12 or 24 V DC: connect it to the access control power supply with two wires. It draws 300 mA at 12 V in the 60 and 180 kg versions, 500 mA in the 280 kg version.
For wooden, glass, metal and fire-rated doors: the electromagnet is fixed to the frame, the armature plate to the leaf. You only need a flat mounting surface where the two parts meet.
Plate with rubber washer: the plate is mounted on a pin with rubber and self-aligns to the electromagnet. Do not fully tighten the screw, otherwise the holding force decreases.
Anodized aluminum body: housing in aluminum alloy with anodized finish, plate in galvanized steel. Contact surface in polished steel, with no moving parts to wear out.
Three sizes, one per force:80 × 38 × 25 mm for 60 kg, 170 × 40 × 20 mm for 180 kg. The 280 kg model measures 250 × 48 × 25 mm. Plates are 75, 130 and 180 mm.
Lightweight:0.5 kg for the 60 kg version, 1.2 kg for the 180 kg version and 1.8 kg for the 280 kg version. The smallest version has a black body, the others natural aluminum.
Operates from -10 to 55 °C: humidity up to 90% non-condensing; in operation the body warms by less than 20 °C above ambient. For indoor and sheltered areas.
Controlled by the access control system: keypad, RFID reader or control board with relay and exit button, sold separately. The magnet alone has no logic or app.
Power supply not included: requires a 12 V DC power supply with sufficient current; access control power supplies already have a dedicated lock output.
In the box: electromagnet, plate with pin and rubber washer, screws, washers and Allen key. L or Z brackets for inward-opening doors not included.
Secure payments: cards, PayPal, bank transfer, and installments

Electromagnetic door lock: closed when powered, open when not powered
An electromagnetic lock is the simplest lock in an access control system: an electromagnet attached to the frame and a holding plate attached to the door. As long as the magnet is powered at 12 or 24 V DC , the plate remains attached and the door cannot open. When the access control system cuts off the power, the door is free. There are no latches, springs, or moving parts: nothing wears out and nothing jams. Choose from three holding forces depending on the door: lightweight doors and cabinets, interior office and shop doors, entrance doors, and pedestrian gates. It works well on wood, glass, metal, and fire doors. Control is via a keypad, RFID reader, or control board with relay, and requires a dedicated power supply : these accessories are sold separately.
Fail safe: the door remains closed with the power on and opens without it.
The electromagnet works the opposite of a traditional lock: it only holds when powered . This is the fail-safe principle, and is why it is used on emergency exits and in offices: if the power goes out, the door opens and no one is locked inside. The access control simply interrupts the power supply for a moment using the keypad or card relay . This happens when the user swipes their badge or presses the exit button. It is a single-door lock: one electromagnet for each door. If you need the door to stay closed even without power, this product is not for you: you need a fail-secure electric strike.
Anodized aluminum body, galvanized steel plate
The housing is made of aluminum alloy with an anodized finish that resists scratches and rust. The magnetic face is made of polished three-prong steel: the smoother it is, the better the plate adheres and the longer the declared holding force is maintained. The plate is made of galvanized steel and is resistant to the humidity of a hallway or garage and will not rust the door. Keep the contact surface clean: dust, glue, or tape between the magnet and the plate will reduce the hold. During operation, the body heats up to 20°C compared to the ambient temperature. It operates at -10 to 55°C, even in high humidity, provided there is no condensation.
Plate on pin with rubber: aligns itself with the magnet
The sealing plate is not rigidly screwed to the door. It is mounted on a central pin with a rubber washer and can wobble a few degrees. This allows it to rest flat on the face of the magnet even if the door is not square. Therefore, the central screw should not be tightened completely : if you tighten it, the plate will not settle and the seal will be compromised. Two lateral pins prevent the plate from rotating. The package includes screws , washers, and an Allen key: for wooden or glass doors, you will also need the appropriate brackets, described below.
Three holding forces: 60, 180 and 280 kg, which one to choose
The 60 kg version (Clock-1) is 8 cm long, weighs half a kilo and is suitable for furniture doors, cabinets and lightweight interior doors. The 180 kg version (Clock-2) is the standard size for office, shop and condominium doors. The 280 kg version (Clock-3) is 25 cm long and weighs 1.8 kg: for heavy entrance doors, pedestrian gates and fire doors. All operate at 12 or 24 V DC; the first two draw 300 mA at 12 V, the larger 500 mA .
L and ZL brackets and frame mounting step by step
The electromagnet is mounted at the top, on the inside of the frame, with the magnetic side facing the door. On outward -opening doors, the magnet, screwed under the crosspiece, is sufficient. On inward- opening doors, an L-bracket is needed for the magnet and a Z-bracket for the plate, as shown in the diagram. On frameless glass doors, a U-bracket is needed to hold the door in place. The brackets are not included . Assembly follows the illustrations: remove the screw and the side plate from the magnet, attach the side plate to the frame, and reassemble the body. Then secure the retaining plate to the door with the pin and dowels, aligned with the magnet.
Access control keypad
Smart WiFi IP66 Outdoor Keyboard with Card Reader
Access control power supply
12V power supply with lock output
Two-wire connection: power supply, keypad and exit button
The electromagnet has two wires , positive and negative: they connect to the lock output of the access control power supply, which receives the command from the keypad or card relay. The diagram shows a typical case: 12V power supply with lock output, keypad with badge reader, exit button on the inside, and electromagnet on the door. When the keypad recognizes the badge or someone presses the button, the relay cuts off the power to the magnet for a few seconds and the door opens. The points on the diagram lead to the keypad and power supply we usually use. The exit button is not included in the catalog: any normally open button will do.
Where to use: offices, shops, apartment buildings and pedestrian gates
This is the typical lock for access control systems: office and studio entrances, back rooms of shops, condominium entrance doors, server rooms, changing rooms, and pedestrian gates. It can be combined with a keypad with an RFID reader or a control board with a relay and exit button. The dedicated power supply is available with other electric lock accessories . In short: 12-24 V DC fail-safe electromagnet with a capacity of 60, 180, or 280 kg, anodized aluminum body and galvanized plate on a pin. For wooden, glass, metal, and fire doors, with screws and an Allen key included. Below are the products we usually combine.
The door opens: the electromagnet only holds as long as it's powered (fail-safe). This is why it's used on escape routes. If you want a door that stays closed without power, you need a fail-safe electric strike.
60 kg for furniture doors and light interior doors, 180 kg for office, shop and apartment building doors, 280 kg for heavy entrance doors, pedestrian gates and fire doors.
Both are DC powered. At 12 V, it draws 300 mA (60 and 180 kg versions) or 500 mA (280 kg); at 24 V, half that. The voltage must match the access control power supply.
A 12V DC power supply for access control and an enabling device: keypad, RFID reader, or control board with relay and exit button. These are sold separately.
The magnet is mounted with an L-bracket and the plate with a Z-bracket, so they meet when the door is closed. On outward-opening doors, the magnet under the crosspiece is sufficient.
The plate must be able to swing on the pin with the rubber washer to rest flat on the magnet. If you jam it, it won't settle and the holding force will decrease.
Electromagnet, retaining plate with pin and rubber washer, screws, washers, and Allen key. Power supply, access control, and brackets are sold separately.
