Two wires for single-colour strips: connects the two poles of a single-colour LED strip, positive and negative, from the strip to the controller, dimmer or power supply.
Red and black: the conductors are red and black: by convention, red connects to positive and black to negative, making it easy to identify the correct polarity at a glance.
22 AWG cross-section: each conductor has a cross-section of 0.34 mm² (22 AWG) and consists of 17 strands measuring 0.16 mm each: it stays flexible and bends without breaking.
Tinned copper: the strands are made of tinned copper, which resists oxidation over time and readily accepts solder when soldering the cable to the strip's pads.
PVC insulation: each wire has its own flame-retardant PVC sheath (VW-1 rated), with a rated voltage of 300 V and a temperature rating of up to 80 °C.
3.2 mm flat cable: the two wires sit side by side in a 3.2 mm-wide ribbon measuring 1.6 mm high: it fits inside aluminium profiles, cable trunking and behind furniture.
Separable wires: the conductors can be pulled apart at the ends, allowing you to route each wire to its own terminal or solder pad, even when they are spaced apart.
1, 3 or 5 metres: choose the length you need from 1, 3 and 5 metres: a short length for a nearby connection or a longer one to position the power supply further away.
Unterminated ends: the cable comes without connectors: solder it to the strip, secure it in the power supply terminals or insert it into a 2-pin quick connector.
LED strip extension: use it as an extension cable between the strip and power supply, to join two sections around a corner or to extend the lighting from one piece of furniture to another.
For LEDs and more: designed for 12 and 24 V single-colour LED strips, it is also suitable for other low-voltage two-wire applications, such as lamps and small devices.
Uniform lighting: with high-power strips and long runs, keep the cable as short as possible and supply power at multiple points to maintain even lighting all the way to the end.
Passive accessory: no app, no protocol: the cable does not connect to WiFi. Strip, power supply and controller are sold separately.

22 AWG 2-Pin Single Color LED Strip Wire, Red and Black, Tinned Copper
The 2-pin single-color LED strip cable carries the positive and negative wires from the strip to the power supply, dimmer, or controller, or connects two strip sections together. The two conductors are red and black , so you can tell the polarity at a glance. Each wire has a cross-section of 0.34 mm² (22 AWG) , is made of 17 strands of tinned copper , and is insulated with flame-retardant PVC. The strip is just 3.2 mm wide and 1.6 mm high: it fits through aluminum profiles, conduits, and tight spaces behind furniture. The ends are free, without connectors, and you can use it as an extension. It is available in three lengths: 1, 3, or 5 meters .
Red and black to respect the polarity of the LED strip
With single-color LED strips, only one thing matters: connect positive to positive and negative to negative. Conventionally, the red wire goes to positive and the black wire to negative, and with two different colors, it's difficult to make a mistake. The two wires are separated by hand at the ends, so you can connect them to terminals even far from each other. The cable connects the strip to a 24V or 12V power supply , depending on the voltage of the strip: the cable doesn't change the voltage, it carries it as is. Before connecting, check the + and − symbols printed on the strip.
Where to use: LED strips, decorative lamps and small circuits
The cable was designed for single-color LED strips : you use it as an extension between the strip and the power supply, for example when the power supply is in a cabinet and the light runs under cabinets, in a ceiling groove, or along a shelf. It's also useful for reconnecting the strip after a corner or door. To connect it without soldering, you can use a 2-pin quick connector from the strip to the cable or a 2-pin connector from the strip to the power supply . It's also suitable for decorative lamps and small low-voltage circuits, but not for 230V home electrical systems.
0.34 mm², 22 AWG cross-section, in a 3.2 mm wide and 1.6 mm high ribbon
The two conductors, red and black, are placed side by side in a ribbon 3.2 mm wide and 1.6 mm high . Each has a cross-section of 0.34 mm² , equivalent to 22 AWG , and is made up of 17 strands of 0.16 mm: the cable remains flexible and can be bent into corners without breaking. The thin profile hides under baseboards, inside LED strip profiles, and along the edges of furniture. With powerful strips and long runs, keep the cable as short as possible and monitor the voltage drop, especially with 12 V strips.
Tinned copper and 300V flame retardant PVC insulation
The strands are tinned copper : the tin protects the copper from oxidation and makes soldering to the strip's pads easier. Each conductor has its own flame-retardant PVC sheath, rated VW-1 , with a voltage rating of 300 V and a temperature rating of up to 80 °C , as indicated on the sheath. The PVC remains soft and can be stripped with standard wire strippers. The two wires can be separated by hand at the ends, to the length you need. Among the accessories and connectors for LED strips, you will find quick connectors, terminals, and power supplies to complete the connection.
